Free Crochet Pattern: Flower Face Scrubbies Pattern

Here I have added a free crochet pattern for cotton flower face ‘scrubbies’ so that you can practice the magic ring and crocheting in joined rounds, whilst making something useful! These washable scrubbies can be used to replace disposable cotton wool pads and wipes for removing makeup and cleansing your face.

Materials

5mm hook

Approx 10g Worsted/aran yarn

Scissors

Yarn Needle

Abbreviations (UK Terminology)

ch chain

st/s stitch/es

slst slip stitch

dc double crochet

tr treble crochet

Round 1: Magic ring, ch 2, 12 tr into ring, join with slst into top of first tr (12 st). Cut yarn, fasten off

Round 2: Join petal colour yarn in any st with a slst,

ch2, 2tr in each st, join with slst into top of first tr (24 st)

Round 3: Ch2, 3tr in the same st as slip stitch from round 2, skip 1 st, 1 slst, skip 1 st, *6 tr in the same st, skip 1 st,

1 slst, skip 1 st repeat from * 4 more times. End with 3tr in the same st as the first 3 tr (shown with needle), join with slst in first tr (6 petals).

Cut yarn, sew in ends
