Smarties Bobble Blanket by Melu Crochet

This sweet bobble blanket is perfect for a handmade baby gift, adding soft texture, gentle colour, and playful style to any nursery. Designed with simple stitches and a bold colour layout, it creates a cosy, eye-catching finish that is both fun to make and rewarding to complete.

Raised contrasting bobbles pop through the surface to create playful texture, while the dense stitch pattern forms a solid fabric with no large gaps, making it suitable for little ones.

This pattern is written with advanced beginners in mind and includes clear step-by- step instructions, a full colour recipe, yarn quantities, and a photo tutorial to guide you through creating the contrasting colour bobbles.

I was taking a photo of this blanket when I had just started making it and my daughter was eating Smarties – she lined them up next to it and the Smarties blanket was born!
