Abbreviations
This granny square is made using 3 colours (A,B,C)
In this example,
Colour A is Stylecraft Special DK, Meadow,
Colour B is Stylecraft Special DK, Fondant,
Colour C is Stylecraft Special DK, Lipstick

You can change the order of the colours to suit your preference.
Foundation ring
Using your first colour (A), ch4

And join with slst to first ch to form a ring

Round 1
Ch 4, (this counts as 1 tr and a 2-ch space, which will become your corner),

*3tr into ring,

Ring indicated by arrow
ch 2

repeat from * twice,
2tr in ring,

join with a slip stitch to second ch of your ch4.

The ch2 creates your corner spaces

Round 2
Join colour B to a corner space,

Ch 4,

3tr in same corner space,

*3tr, ch2, 3tr in next corner space

repeat from * two more times,

2tr in the same corner space as the ch4 at the beginning of this round, join with slst to second ch of your ch4.

Round 3
Join colour A to a corner space, ch4, 3tr in same corner space,

*3tr in next space,

3tr, ch2, 3tr in next corner space

repeat from * two more times,
3tr in next space,

2tr in the same corner space as the ch4 at the beginning of this round,

join with slst to second ch of your ch4.

Round 4
Join colour C to a corner space, ch4, 3tr in same corner space,
*3tr in next space, 3tr in next space,

3tr, ch2, 3tr in next corner space

repeat from * two more times,

3tr in next space, 3tr in next space, 2tr in the same corner space as the ch4 at the beginning of this round, join with slst to second ch of your ch4.

Continue to add rounds in this way to make the granny square larger.
