I have designed it for advanced beginners, it is a fairly simple pattern to follow and includes a bobble stitch chart (which many people find easier to follow) and written instructions.

Rainbow coloured blanket with raised bumps that are formed using the crochet bobble stitch in the shape of hearts. The blanket has been swirled.

This pattern has followed on from my Rainbow Bobble Heart Blanket and my Customisable Polka Dot Bobble Baby Name Blanket I have had such a great response about these designs I decided to combine them!

I chose my colour palette using my trusty yarn pegs, of which I have all of the stylecraft colours. This time I have used aran weight yarn to create a heavier, more chunky blanket.

Stylecraft yarn in rainbow colours- red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, pink and corresponding yarn pegs.
I give you the colour recipe and yarn amounts you will need using stylecraft special aran, but of course you can play with colour combos and create something unique.

I give you instructions with a colour recipe and photo tutorial to help you make the bobbles pop with a different colour than your working yarn, therefore previous knowledge of how to make a bobble stitch and carry yarn will be helpful.
