Dotty about Bobbles! Blanket by Melu Crochet

My Dotty about Bobbles pattern is here! Take a look in my Etsy shop and LoveCrafts shop, payhip and buy now on Ravelry!

I had an idea for this sweet little blanket and it just flew off my hook! Its a simple, repeating pattern with tons of texture. I’ve designed this to be easy to make, it uses the bobble stitch (small raised bumps) and filet crochet (creating small decorative holes) techniques so is perfect if you are a beginner and want to give them a try.

Plus, with the magic of color-changing yarn, there’s no need to stress about joining.

Wishing you a blissful and creative time crocheting away! 🌟

I have enjoyed using this self striping King Cole Beaches yarn in the colourway ‘Beaches and Cream’. Its so soft!

Materials

4mm hook
300g DK yarn, I used King Cole Beaches in ‘Beaches & Cream’ colourway.

Size
Finished blanket measures approx 77cm x 80cm, ideal for a baby blanket or lap blanket, I also give instructions on how to alter the blanket so you can make it to any size you like!

I was so grateful that my testers added lovely photos both during the process, and when they had finished. Here are some quotes from the group…

I love this pattern, very easy to follow, after few rows I don’t need to look at the pattern anymore. I am making it from mix of varieties of yarns.
