A word about Wheel of Alpaca, this is quickly becoming one of my favourite yarns to work with! It blends 80% acrylic and 20% alpaca, and has very gradual colour changes, similar to that of a cotton yarn cake. but as it is thicker and more flexible than cotton, it is much more beginner-friendly. The gradients in the yarn create a stunning ombré effect, ranging from soothing earth tones to bold, captivating shades.

This blanket requires just one Wheel of Alpaca cake.

Materials

5mm hook

1 cake of Hobbii Wheel of Alpaca -250g dk yarn, I used colour: Purple Rain (09)

Yarn Needle

1 stitch marker

Size

100cm (width) x 84cm (top central point to bottom central point) (39½ x 33 inches)

Tension

10st and 7 rows in tr to 10cm/4in using 5mm hook or size needed to obtain tension.
