Jungle Hex Crochet Bathroom Collection by Melu Crochet

This is a pattern that starts with a face scrubby, then grows to a washcloth, shower mat, bath mat and finally a bath runner. You can choose to make all, or just some of the items and I have provided a detailed chart that will give you the amounts of yarn needed for each.

There is also a color sequence, photo tutorial and detailed instructions for each stage.

With super absorbent cotton yarn in beautifully coordinated colors, you’ll be able to create not just practical, but stylish accessories that will transform your bathroom into a lush jungle oasis.

My Jungle Hex Crochet Bathroom Collection pattern is now available in my Etsy shopRavelry , Lovecrafts, Hobbii and Payhip also available in German on Hobbii

the Hexagon motif starts as a small face scrubby:

Face Scrubby- used to cleanse face and remove makeup

then grows to a washcloth,

this size can be used as a washcloth/flannel/facecloth, dishcloth,

if you continue to make the hexagon larger, you can use it as a shower mat or rug,

Shower Mat

The bath mat then grows in width

Bath Mat in place

and finally with further added width you use yor favourite colours to create a bath runner!

Coordinate with your own decor for a unique bath runner

You can choose to make all, or just some of the items, but make a unique coordinated collection to complement your home!

Tester time!

I have had this pattern fully tested to ensure that the instructions are accurate, easy to follow and satisfyingly good! Thank you to all of my wonderful testers below- take a look at their beautiful creations!

Christina @vanilla_frog_crochet_ used soft yarn, YarnArt baby cotton for her Face Scrubbies and wash cloths:

and she also used ReTwisst Chainy Cotton for her bath mat, to survive her cats!

The pattern was very easy to work with and very well written! I appreciate the very detailed pictures as I am a visual person.

Mindy @mlgudmundson used 968 yards of Bernat Blanket yarn which is a super chunky yarn.

To save money, I used all the partial balls I had in my stash so it’s a rather eclectic looking rug!

I did the bath mat and it measures 58″ by 36″ and I didn’t use the two thread method the pattern wanted for the lighter weight yarn.

The pattern was really easy to follow.

Maryna @euphoriri_crochet has made this beautiful rainbow version! I love the sparkle in the dk yarn

It was very fun and clear, pattern is definitely beginner friendly!

Helen @pitterpatterns_au/ has used

Vera Moda Bamboo cotton in:

Blue (colour a) – 10g approx

Bear (colour b, d & f) 200g approx

Lilac (colour e) 90g approx

Beige (colour g) 100g approx

Katia in Gatsby (colour c) 40g approx

I really enjoyed making this piece, especially making up a piece that I can actually use and enjoy in my own bathroom. I mixed up colours really easily to make a piece that would suit my current colour scheme – but I loved how easily I could create multiple home decor pieces to suit my changing palette!! I also think this would make a wonderful house warming gift!

I like to get all of my patterns tested so that I can make sure the sizes and amount of yarn needed are accurate, and that the instructions are correctly written. This makes them easier to follow for the user and gives you confidence that the time and effort you are putting into crocheting a Melu Crochet pattern is going to be satisfying and your project will turn out beautifully.
